A car accelerates forward at 3.5 m/s2. If the car has a mass of 873 kg, what is the force applied to the car?

F=MA - force equation
f is force
m is mass
a is acceleration
F=MA
F= (873 kg)(3.5 m/s^2) - multiply mass by acceleration
F=3055.5 N - answer (N means newton)
