How does proportional reasoning relate to percent

Well when you do a percent you wanna set up a proportion. Part over total and then percent over 100. I’m not sure if this helped but this is my advice. Remember the part over total, you might have to search for it, but when you set that up just multiply and divide and you got it!! Hope this helped (:
