The perimeter of a rectangle is twice the sum of its length and its width the perimeter is 28 M and it's length is 2 m more than twice its width what is its length

hello :
x : length y : width
2(x+y) = 28....(1)
x= 2y+2....(2)
subsct in : (1)
2(2y+2+y) =28
3y+2=14
3y=12
y= 4 m
x= 2(4)+2 = 10 m
