The equation of the line that is perpendicular to the line y = 6 and passes through the point (-4,-3)

Solution :

Let, equation of line perpendicular to given line is y = m     ....1)

Here, m is a constant.

Putting y = -3 in above equation, we get :

-3 = m

Putting value of m in equation 1), we get :

y = -3

Therefore, correct option is b)  x = -3.
